The move aims to promote women’s involvement in the country’s political, economic and social matters, especially in the National Assembly, civil authority agencies and businesses.
It is necessary to effectively implement international commitments to gender equality, particularly the realisation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, he said, stressing the role played by the UNHRC and other UN mechanisms in this regard.
