Mr. Phuc called on Israel to recognise Vietnam’s market economy and support Vietnam in developing cyber security, agriculture, labour, and defence. He welcomed Israeli investment in Vietnam and pledged to offer incentives for Vietnamese groups to partner with Israeli businesses.
Ambassador Shahar said the signing of a free trade agreement between the two nations will contribute to bilateral ties. She also said she believes the upcoming visit to Vietnam by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin will open many opportunities for stronger cooperation between the two countries.
