(VOVworld)- Five outstanding Vietnamese together with nearly 40 youths from nine other ASEAN member countries are gathering in Singapore to participate in the ASEAN Youth Camp 2013. The ASEAN Youth Camp aims to foster closer ties among the youths of ASEAN through programs and activities focusing on the arts, heritage, and culture of the countries in the region in order to establish a strong ASEAN community by 2015. The 2013 ASEAN Youth Camp was held from August 26 to September 1 with the theme “In Celebration, ASEAN Youths Unite”. This year, Vietnamese youths attended eight workshops focusing on traditional music, traditional dance, painting, and photography. They exchanged artistic expertise with their friends and shared unique Vietnamese art work.
