(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong says he agreed on continued expansion of cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Labor Party of Mexico. Mr. Trong made the statement at a reception for Alberto Anyaa Guiterrez, General Secretary of the Labor Party of Mexico in Hanoi on Wednesday. Guiterrez informed his host of the implementation of cooperative plans between the two Parties: the program on wet rice and coconut cultivation in Mexico, planting Nopan in Vietnam, theoretical and experience exchanges, nursery education, and the publishing of Vietnam’s pictorials in Spanish. Party leader Trong spoke highly of the contributions made by the Labor Party of Mexico and its chief to fostering friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and peoples.

Earlier, the Mexican delegation held talks with the Vietnamese Communist Party delegation led by Hoang Binh Quan, member of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. Both sides discussed each other’s situation, issues of mutual concerns and measures to enhance bilateral relations.
