(VOVworld) – A scientific conference took place in Moscow on Monday to introduce Vietnam’s acupuncture and massage, the quintessence of the global medical sector.

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said that the World Health Organization has considered Vietnam one of five countries in the world to have the most developed acupuncture and traditional medicine.

Ms. Tien said that “this is a good opportunity for Vietnam to introduce to the world Vietnam’s achievements in traditional medical treatments, especially by using acupuncture. This activity will also help tighten the fine bond between people of Hanoi and Moscow to quickly implement agreements and memorandum of understanding in the health sector.”
