Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Vietnam’s Deputy Defense Minister, and the Philippine’s Defense Undersecretary, Honorio Azcueta, agreed on the continued implementation of their Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation, signed in 2010. The two countries will exchange delegations at all levels, especially among young officers, improve the efficiency of defense-strategic dialogues at the deputy ministerial level, and increase mutual support at multilateral forums.
