(VOVworld) - Vietnam considers France a key tourism market and hopes that Vietnam-France tourism cooperation will continue to flourish, said Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Le Khanh Hai Thursday while meeting with Pierre Laurent, National Secretary of the French Communist Party, on the sidelines of the 84th L’Humanite Press Festival in Paris.

Laurent recounted their long-standing relations over the past decades and expressed his great pleasure at inviting Vietnam as a guest of honor to the ‘Business Space’ as part of this year’s Festival. He also showed his satisfaction at the success of the Vietnam Year in France 2014 celebrations being held throughout France, which have improved ties, most notably in tourism. France has developed cooperation projects with Vietnam’s travel agents and airlines.
