Vietnam records 1.8 billion USD export surplus in seven months
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s total export and import turnover from the beginning of the year is estimated at 290 billion USD, in which the export surplus was 1.8 billion USD.
According to the General Statistics Office (GSO), 24 main commodity groups exceeded 1 billion USD of export revenue, accounting for 88% of the total export value.
Domestic firms have recorded a higher export growth rate than that of foreign-invested businesses. The GSO said the US is Vietnam’s largest export market, valuated at 32.5 billion USD. It is followed by the EU, China, ASEAN, and the Republic of Korea.
