Vietnam records 3 more COVID-19 infections, 1 death
(VOVWORLD) - The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control announced Thursday morning that Vietnam had confirmed 2 new infections in Quang Nam province and 1 in Bac Lieu province.
One more person has died in Vietnam from COVID-19-related complications, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son announced Thursday morning. A 52-year-old woman, known as patient 485, who lived in Cam Le district, Da Nang City, was Vietnam's 18th COVID-19 victim so far. She was suffering from end-stage chronic renal failure, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes.
As of Thursday morning, Vietnam had recorded 883 coronavirus cases, including 322 infected individuals returning from abroad and 421 cases traced to Da Nang. 409 patients have fully recovered, and 18 have died.
