(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam on Sunday added 511 new cases of COVID-19, down 219 cases compared to Saturday and the lowest number of new cases in the past 12 months.

In the past 24 hours, an additional 9,627 COVID-19 recoveries were announced, making the number of new recoveries nearly 20 times higher than new cases. Currently, Vietnam’s caseload is over 9.7 million.
As of Sunday, more than 233.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered nationwide.
