(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has gone 43 straight days with no new coronavirus infections in the community. Of the 327 confirmed cases in Vietnam, 187 were arrivals who were quarantined as soon as they entered Vietnam and posed no risk of community transmission.
Over 5.7 million cases of Covid-19 infection have been confirmed worldwide.
The US has been the hardest-hit country, with over 1.7 million cases and 100,000 fatalities, followed by the UK and Brazil.

France has entered the second phase of easing its coronavirus lockdown. Restaurants, cafes, and bars will be allowed to operate beginning June 2 in regions with declining cases of coronavirus. France hopes to reopen its borders to travel from within Europe on June 15th, according to Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, who added that the reopening will be coordinated with the other 27 EU members.
