Organized by VTC Digital Television Station, Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Hanoi Moi Newspaper, and Oscar Media Company, the event aimed to channel all funds raised to flood victims through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The performances were designed to inspire resilience and encourage the community to overcome the hardships caused by severe flooding in northern provinces.
Nguyen Khac Tuan, representing EI Education and Investment Group, said: “The recent flooding was devastating and I was moved by the images and reports covering the disaster. Through this program, I’d like to send 100 million VND in cash and 1 billion VND in educational scholarships for flood victims. I also hope to support 10 children orphaned by the floods, sponsoring their education until they reach university.”
A highlight of the "Vietnam Resilient" charity program was the auction of an electric motorbike donated by Vinfast. The bike, featuring the program's logo designed by artist Xuan Khoi, fetched 8,000 USD. Additionally, a painting by artist Doan Nguyen was auctioned for another 8,000 USD.
These contributions, along with donations from sponsors, benefactors, and philanthropists, raised a total of nearly 120,000 USD to support those impacted by recent storms and floods.
