(VOVworld) – Many cities and provinces have joined in the world's Earth Hour 2013 by stopping electrical consumption for one hour, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. This represents a strong commitment to the global effort to combat climate change. Student Nguyen Thi Thuy from Hanoi’s University of Electricity: “This is my 2nd time participating in the event. I am very excited and wonder if all other people in the world do respond to the campaign. I hope this will contribute to the fight against climate change and there will be more days like this in the year.
