(VOVworld) – Many cities and provinces have joined in the world's Earth Hour 2013 by stopping electrical consumption for one hour, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. 500 Youth Union members in the southern city of Can Tho held a parade in the city center displaying costumes made from recycled products and introduce energy saving devices. Vietnam’s response to the Earth Hour campaign is expected to save up 700,000 kilowatts hour or more than 1 billion dong.
