(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Defense Minister General Phùng Quang Thanh has highlighted the third ministerial-level defence policy dialogue between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea as a boost to the bilateral friendship and mutual understanding.

Minister Thanh made the remarks at Monday meeting in Hanoi while receiving Baek Seung Joo, Korean Deputy Minister of National Defence, who attends the dialogue.
Baek informed Thanh the outcomes of the dialogue with his Vietnamese counterpart, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyễn Chí Vịnh. He said he hopes the two armies will strengthen cooperation in a more practical and effective manner for their mutual benefits and that of the two people.
