(VOVworld)- National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu has proposed that Vietnam and Russia strengthen legislative ties. At a meeting yesterday with Chereshnhev Valeriy Alexeandrovich, Chairman of the Commission of Science and High Technology of the Russian State Duma, Mr. Luu urged the two legislative bodies to increase exchanges of experience and knowledge in legislation and support the two governments in developing a legal framework for bilateral cooperation. He hoped that the two legislative bodies would increase bilateral cooperation and support each other at multilateral forums. Mr. Alexeandrovich said Russia values the strategic partnership with Vietnam and continues to support Vietnam in legislation, science and technology.
