Vietnam seeks to promote all-round cooperation with Iran
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam always treasures and wants to promote cooperation with Iran in all areas, including economics, healthcare, science and technology, tourism, agriculture, security, and defense, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan, the commander of Iran’s Law Enforcement Command.

PM Chinh suggested that both countries continue to effectively implement the agreements reached during the visit to Iran by the Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly last August and to strengthen delegation exchanges at all levels, especially high-level exchanges.
The two sides need to promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation as a key pillar in their relations; make full use of their potentials in agriculture, fisheries, and the Halal industry; and explore the expansion of cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
Stressing Vietnam's significant role in Iran's foreign policy, Commander Radan noted that there is substantial potential for collaboration between the two countries and that Iran is eager and ready to strengthen such ties, especially in economy, trade, security.
