(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in South Africa held a forum in Pretoria on Tuesday to discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation in maritime transportation.

Ambassador Le Huy Hoang said that although bilateral trade has reached 1.2 billion USD the two countries’ cooperation potential remains huge and untapped mainly due to high transportation costs. The Embassy took this occasion to promote a number of Vietnamese export items such as farm products, seafood, Trung Nguyen coffee, tra fish, and fragrant rice.
