(VOVworld)- Vietnam supported India’s Look East policy, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at a meeting with Indian Defense Minister Manokar Parrika in Hanoi on Monday.

Phuc said as an active member of ASEAN and a close friend of India, Vietnam will do its utmost to boost the ASEAN-India Strategic Partnership. He said Vietnam supported India’s participation in the East Asia cooperation and its Permanent Membership at the expanded UN Security Council. The Vietnamese Prime Minister urged the two defense ministries to further cooperation.
