(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang has reiterated Vietnam’s unswerving policy of supporting the just struggle of the Palestinians for their basic human rights.

At a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saasi Salama, President Quang said Vietnam supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian State which matches the UN resolutions and ensures the legitimate rights of all parties involved. He said he hopes the Ambassador will continue to work for closer ties with Vietnam.

The Ambassador expressed his belief in thriving Palestine-Vietnam relations, which will pave the way for people-to-people exchanges and trade cooperation.
