President Truong Tan Sang said when Vietnam’s FTA come into force in 2018, Vietnam will be a gateway to a market of 4 billion consumers with a GDP of 70 trillion USD.
He said Vietnam’s economic policy encourages cooperation with Tanzania and other African countries: "I appreciate the idea of the forum is to create consensus among businesses. With fine political ties and great potential for cooperation, I believe Vietnam and Tanzania will connect markets in East Asia and East Africa. There are potentials that have not been exploited effectively and I’m looking forward to more concrete actions between the two countries for future achievements."
