(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese-made H5N1 influenza vaccine is currently in the third phase of human testing. The Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology says the test is made on a large population to determine safety level, capacity to produce antibodies against the bird flu virus, and protection efficacy. The third phase of the clinical trial will conclude by the end of 2012 and results will be submitted to a board of scientists for final approval and production in 2013.
