Speaking at a ceremony to hand over the maps to 35 Cambodian ministries and state institutions, Mr. Kimhong said the Cambodian government will discuss with Vietnam to demarcate the remaining 16 percent of the border. The new maps represent the border demarcation work that has been completed since 2006. Mr. Kimhong said the maps are based on the versions produced during the French colonial era.
