(VOVworld) – Vietnam has taken the lead among ASEAN exporters to Canada. The trade between the two countries surged 11.8% to more than 900 million USD in the first quarter of this year, according to Statistics Canada.

Vietnam’s key exports to Canada are electrical and electronic equipment, wood, garments and textiles, footwear, fax machines, printers, and other machines. Vietnam imports from Canada fertilizers, soybeans, seafood, machines, equipment, components, and fur. Compared to other ASEAN nations, Vietnam ranks fifth in imports from Canada.
