During an interview with the Vietnam News Agency on Monday, Yanez urged Vietnam and Chile to expand collaboration in science, technology, services, and the digital economy while reviewing the list of products and sectors benefiting from the deal in order to effectively exploit the FTA.
Expressing appreciation for Vietnam’s assumption of the ASEAN Chairmanship in 2020, Yanez said it offers Chile an opportunity to reinforce ties with other Southeast Asian nations. Yanez hailed Vietnam as a strategic partner of top significance for Chile in expanding its ties with ASEAN.
