(VOVworld) - The 33rd session of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation concluded in Hanoi on Thursday.

During 3-day meeting, Vietnamese and Cuban experts reviewed the implementation of the previous session’s minutes, set out feasible cooperative areas in the next two years based on the potential, needs, and priorities.
Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung, co-chairman of the commission, said new cooperation agreements between Vietnam and Cuba in trade, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, investment, and banking will boost the bilateral cooperation ties and go in line with the Parties and governments of both nations.
Vietnam hopes ministries, relevant agencies, business community of each country will fully tap cooperation opportunities toward successfully realizing commitments reached at this meeting.
Minister Dung and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz signed the minute for the 33rd session and scheduled to co-host a conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday to introduce investment opportunities in Cuba.
