(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) have reached an agreement on strengthening their friendship and cooperation. The agreement highlights the support to the Cuban people in their struggle against the US blockade and embargo, joint efforts in organizing national occasions and other important events of each country, the attention to students and alumni studying and working in each country, as well as exchanges of information and delegations. The document reaffirms the coordination mechanisms between the two organizations and their determination to continue working to consolidate the friendship and solidarity between the two nations and peoples.
