(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt has hosted a Cultural Day in Cairo, part of an Egyptian Exchange Week with foreign students.

Themed “Vietnamese Culture in Cairo”, the event attracted foreign professors and students, who are teaching and studying at local universities. Student Tran Thanh Le said: “This is the first time Vietnamese students have joined Exchange Week to promote our culture to international friends. We introduced to them our traditional culture and typical products such as ao dai - the long dress, dan bau – the monochord, and special dishes.

Reham, a student at Ain Shams University, shares his impression: “I’m really impressed with Vietnamese culture. This is the first time I’ve attended such an attractive cultural space with an impressive performance of the monochord.”
