Vietnamese doctors perform robotic assisted surgeries overseas
(VOVWORLD) - Doctor Tran Vinh Hung, Director of Binh Dan Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City said on Saturday that doctors of Binh Dan hospital have guided the use of robot in surgery for the Philippine General Hospital in the Philippines.

At the request of the Philippine Hospital, the Vietnamese doctors used robots to perform gastric surgeries on two patients and the operations were successful. At an international conference on urology robotic assisted surgery in India last month, Vietnamese doctors impressed their foreign colleagues by successfully performing 4 operations.
