Mr. Hue proposed increasing exchanges between local leaders and collaboration in border patrols, counter-terrorism efforts, and stopping crime.
He advocated stronger cooperation in tourism, poverty reduction, sustainable development, and railway connectivity, including the Kunming-Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong route.
Secretary Wang said Yunnan treasures its friendship and cooperation with Vietnam and stands ready to work closely with Vietnamese localities to effectively realize the common perceptions of the high-ranking leaders of the two nations and of Yunnan and Vietnamese ministries, agencies, and localities.
