(VOVworld) – Vietnamese people in Laos’ northern provinces have donated nearly 6,000 USD in response to the drive rallying support for the people in Vietnamese sea and islands.

They have also denounced China’s illegal placement of an oilrig in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone, which violated international law, the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea, and agreements between the two countries’ senior leaders.
