(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with President of the Russian Communist Party (RCP) Gennady Zyuganov on Monday, during his on-going visit to Russia.
Mr. Gyuganov said the Communist Party of Russia has always support the Russian government’s policies and measures to enhance friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam.

Mr. Phuc said that Vietnam always wishes to enhance the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia. Both sides pledged to regularly exchange visits to enhance understanding and trust.
The same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with representatives of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Association of Russian Former Military Experts. Heads of the two associations promised to make more contributions to the long-lasting relationship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Mr. Phuc briefed them on Vietnam’s achievements during 30 years of reform and its foreign policy, saying Vietnam attaches importance to developing relations with traditional friends, including Russia.
