(VOVworld) – 20-year-old Do Ha Ngan, from Paris 10 University, surpassed 19 other contestants to be crowned “Miss Spring 2013” in Paris. The event was organized by the Vietnamese Students’ Association in France (UEVF) as part of the Welcome 2013 Spring festival.

UEVF Chairman Ta Minh Tri said: "Miss Spring honors the beauty of Vietnamese students in France. This is also a chance for the students to get to know each other. This contest marks the 40^th anniversary of Vietnam –France diplomatic ties and the Vietnamese – French cross-culture exchange this year. Miss Spring 2013 is responsible for promoting UEVF activities among students."

On this occasion the UEVF presented outstanding student awards to the five top graduate and post-graduate students for their academic achievements in the previous semester.
