(VOVworld) – More than 50 people in Vientiane, Laos, received free health check-ups and medicine in a volunteer program carried out by the youth union of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security led by lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi, Deputy General Director of the General Political Department of the Ministry of Public Security, on Sunday.

The program beneficiaries are the local people and members of the Laotian security force in Vientiane. The program is part of the delegation’s activities in Laos from July 28 to August 5. The delegation will visit leaders of the General Political Department and the youth union of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos and have an exchange with Laos young people in Savanakhet province.
