Delegates said that Vietnam had reached economic achievements turning a country suffering from food shortages into a major food exporter.
Vietnam has recorded high economic growth compared with other regional countries, despite regional and global difficulties.
From 1990 to 2010, Vietnam’s GDP growth rate was approximately 7.3%. Vietnam became a middle-income country in 2010.
