(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s export turnover in April is expected to reach 9.7 billion USD, up 9.1% against the same period last year.

Agro-forestry, fishery export revenues US$8.67 billion in four months

Exports of telephones and components posted 5.8 billion USD in revenue, an increase of 92.3% compared to last year. According to the General Statistics Office, in the first four months of this year, export value reached nearly 40 billion USD, up 16.9%. To boost exports in the future, the Ministry of Trade plans to attract more investment in auxiliary industries and simplify administrative procedures for licensing certificates of origin. Along with expanding export markets, the Ministry will improve its forecasting of domestic and foreign markets while updating market information for businesses and boosting border trade.
