A press conference is held to announce the festival

(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s ethnic minority cultural festival entitled “Year of Dragon’s opportunities” will take place from April 18^th to 19^th in Hanoi’ Son Tay township. There will also be a seminar to promote investment in tourist products, and a gala night to honor ethnic minority culture. A mountain market miniature and information on 13 ethnic minority groups will also be held. The festival will feature traditional games, a sports competition and a youth camp. Writer Nguyen Khac Phuc is one of the festival organizers: “This year’s ethnic minority cultural festival will feature Vietnam’s thriving market culture. The gala night will be staged with a vibrant tempo, reflecting the strength of young people in folklore. All these will demonstrate Vietnam’s likeliness to a flying dragon. We will overcome all our difficulties and move forward”.

The festival will promote exchanges between ethnic groups, and different  regions, honor their identities and strengthen national unity. It will also promote Vietnam’s ethnic cultures to the world.
