Vietnam's textile, garment enterprises gear up for stronger growth

(VOVWORLD) - Garment and textile enterprises resumed production on Monday, immediately after the Tet holiday.

Pham Tien Lam, Director General of the Duc Giang Corporation, said that this year Duc Giang is focusing on improving its production organization and labor productivity to increase exports 10% to 88-90 million USD.

At the Garment 10 Corporation (Garco 10), 12,000 workers returned to work with a determination to achieve the company’s target of 10% growth.

“After the company’s ceremony to begin the new year, all employees immediately got back to work to ensure that all signed orders will be fulfilled on time. We aim to grow 10% or more this year. We believe we can achieve that goal,” said Director General Than Duc Viet.

At the Hoa Xa fiber factory of the Nam Dinh Textile Garment Corporation, Director General Cao Huu Hieu pressed a button to resume production after presenting Tet gifts to the company’s workers.
