(VOVworld) – Voters nationwide have praised the end-of-term reports of the President, the government, and the Prime Minister over the last 5 years. They said the government has issued many policies on socialist-oriented economic reform, particularly in simplifying administrative procedures and improving the business and investment environment.

Vietnam has signed a number of free trade agreements during this period. Economist Nguyen Minh Phong said that one of Vietnam’s most important achievements was its stabilization of the macro-economy, control of inflation, and prevention of speculation on foreign currency markets. He said: “I hope that the new leadership will increase people’s trust with their reform commitments. I also hope that the new government will take specific measures to overcome the current difficulties and aim for greater future success.”

Nguyen Duy Thanh, Chairman of the Toan Cau Housing Management Company in HCM city, said: “The 13^th National Assembly approved the 2013 Constitution and issued many realistic laws that will nurture business development. Its performance was quite impressive.”
