(VOVWORLD) -Typhoon Yagi, the most powerful storm to hit the East Sea in the past 30 years, has caused serious damage to lives and property in northern provinces of Vietnam, especially mountainous areas. Vietnam is in dire need of huge resources to recover from natural disaster. More than ever, the relief work needs to be done urgently to help millions of people.

The Voice of Vietnam’s VOVWORLD (VOV5) calls for donations of money from philanthropists, businesses, associations, domestic and international organizations, overseas Vietnamese at home and abroad, and foreigners in Vietnam. The donations will be delivered directly to those in need.
