(VOVWORLD) -Voice of Vietnam Overseas Service (VOVWorld) won a gold prize for live broadcast, a bronze prize for reportage and a consolation prize for thematic program at the award ceremony of the 16th National Radio Festival held on Saturday evening in Thanh Hoa city.

At the ceremony attended by leaders of the Voice of Vietnam and Thanh Hoa province together with 1,000 journalists from media outlets across the country, the Organizing Board presented 28 gold prizes, 58 silver prizes, and 71 bronze prizes, plus five awards: Golden Voice; Excellent Host; Programming Technique; Digital Platform Application; and Podcast.

This year’s radio festival saw the participation of 81 media units sending 380 works competing in six genres: Reportage, Thematic Program, Interview, Ethnic Language Program, Radio Stories, and Live Broadcast.
At the closing ceremony, VOV President Do Tien Sy, Head of the Steering Committee of the 16th National Radio Festival, handed over the flag to Quang Ninh province, the host of the next festival in 2026.
