(VOVworld) – Swedish prosecutors said on Monday that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will be interviewed next week at Ecuador's Embassy in London.  An Ecuadorian prosecutor is set to interview Assange in the presence of Sweden Chief Prosecutor Ingrid Isgren and a police investigator. The results of the inquiry will later be reported to Sweden.

Assange has lived in Ecuador’s Embassy in London since 2012 to avoid possible extradition to Sweden over the rape allegation, which he has always denied. He was also afraid that he could be extradited to the US over WikiLeaks’ publication of secret US documents.
