Chairman Magdy Mordan, who is also Chairman of Egypt’s Supreme Press Council, spoke at the event: “Ho Chi Minh was a very great, intelligent leader who helped Vietnam conquer the American troops and expel them from the country. He made the Vietnamese people more powerful in everything, not only militarily. I appreciate the Vietnamese people because they like their leader and don’t forget him. They do everything to commemorate him and honor him. Today we’re very happy and proud to honor this great man because this makes other people and leaders know how Vietnam is now and how Vietnam will be more and more prosperous.”
Presentations highlighted the significant role of President Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam’s liberation wars, construction, and defense. Participants all agreed that President Ho Chi Minh’s influence reached beyond Vietnam’s border to strongly motivate the global struggle for independence around the world.
