(VOVworld)- A workshop on Vietnam’s renovation, development and integration has opened in Warsaw, Poland as part of activities to mark the 65^th anniversary of Vietnam-Poland diplomatic ties.

Workshop participants discussed Vietnam’s socio-economic development and its prestige after 30 years of renovation, especially its prospects following the end of the negotiation of the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and the establishment of the ASEAN Community by the end of this year. They discussed Vietnam-Poland relationship amidst complications in the region and the world, including tension in the East Sea and the intensive integration of the Vietnamese community in Poland in the last few years. On the sidelines of the workshop, documents on Vietnam’s economic development, its role in ASEAN, the settlement of disputes in the East Sea and Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos were distributed.
