(VOVworld) – On Thursday, Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang sent their congratulatory messages to Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on his election. In his message, the Lao Prime Minister said: “I believe with your capacity and experience, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, will continue to sustain stability and achieve economic growth, the living conditions of its people will improve, and Vietnam’s prestige and position in the region and the world will be elevated. Your experience in Vietnam-Laos cooperation over years will contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.”

In his message the Chinese Prime Minister said relations between the two countries have developed steadily in recent years. He urged both countries to strengthen solidarity and cooperation for mutual development. He said that China is ready to boost development strategic connectivity and promote bilateral ties.
