(VOVWORLD) - India’s e-newspaper Times of India this week ran an article about the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, spotlighting Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s speech at the 13th National Party Congress opening.

The article quoted the Vietnamese Prime Minister as saying that the Congress is taking place at a time of complicated regional and international developments and global challenges such as climate change, natural disasters, and pandemics.
According to Times of India, having made tremendous economic progress over the last 15 years, Vietnam’s policy of “Doi Moi” (Renewal) has increased prosperity for the Vietnamese people and significantly bolstered Vietnam’s regional and global standing. Vietnam’s praiseworthy handling of the COVID-19 pandemic has made Vietnam an attractive investment destination and likely a manufacturing hub for the coming decades, the article noted. It went on to say that this is precisely why the international community should support Vietnam at this opportune moment when it is looking to set the policy direction for the next 25 years.
The Times Kuwait news portal posted an article Wednesday about Vietnam’s 13th National Party Congress, describing it as one of the most important political events in Vietnam in 2021. Vietnam achieved impressive accomplishments in the past five years, particularly in 2020. According to Times Kuwait, Vietnam’s voice is beginning to be heard in regional and global affairs. Its capacity to chair, govern, and lead conferences, forums, and international organizations has been clearly demonstrated.
In an article about Vietnam’s 13th National Party Congress, the online newspaper Club of Mozambique praised the thorough, democratic personnel work conducted by the Party Central Committee.
