(VOVworld) - The Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission chief, Ha Thi Khiet, has extended greetings to Catholic organizations and followers in Ho Chi Minh City in the run up to Christmas.

At the municipal Archbishop's Palace, she wished Archbishop Paul Bui Van Doc and all the dignitaries, priests, and followers to have a Christmas full of happiness and blessings.
She praised many Catholic organizations and individuals for their practical activities to help people with disabilities to integrate into the community, develop national solidarity, and build houses of gratitude for the poor.
At the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (the South), Khiet congratulated President Phan Vinh Cu and hailed the organization’s contributions to the national development pursuant to the teachings “Living the Gospel amidst the nation”.
During a visit to Priest Nguyen Cong Danh, President of the Committee for the Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics and Priest Phan Khac Tu, the Committee’s deputy President, Madam Khiet praised the organization’s activities to unite Catholic followers and promote the national patriotism movement.
