(VOVworld) – The final round of the 2016 Vietnam Robocon Competition will take place in the northern province of Ninh Binh from May 9-14, gathering 32 teams from around the country.

The participants are part of 24 teams from the north and eight from the south, including prior year champions such as Lac Hong University (Dong Nai), Hanoi University of Industry, Hanoi University of Transport and Sao Do University (Hai Duong).
They are the most outstanding teams of the qualifying rounds that drew the participation of 79 teams from 20 universities and colleges around the country. The champion will represent Vietnam to attend the 2016 Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU) in Thailand this August.
Themed ‘Finding clean energy’, Robocon 2016 aims to encourage the use of renewable clean energy.
