(VOVworld) – The 2^nd Muong gong festival opened Wednesday in Hoa Binh province to mark the province’s130^th founding anniversary and the 25^th anniversary of its re-establishment.

300 artists from 11 districts and cities contribute to the 3-day event various performances ranging from gongs playing to fashion shows. 1,600 gong artists from Hoa Binh province participated in a gong parade. The Muong gong is a musical instrument closely associated with the life of Muong ethnic people.
