35 press works honored for covering fight against corruption
(VOVWORLD) - 35 press works in radio, TV, print, and online newspaper will be awarded in Hanoi on August 15 for contributing to the fight against corruption and wastefulness.
A press conference takes place in Hanoi on July 31, 2019, for a ceremony presenting the national press awards on the fight against corruption and wastefulness in mid August.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man acknowledged journalists’ involvements in investigations of corruption cases, thus preventing degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.
Mr. Man, who is also head of the steering committee of the national press awards on the fight against corruption and wastefulness, said: “These second national press awards focus on people’s support for the battle against corruption and wastefulness. The awards will be presented to those promoting social debate, democracy, and the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as the representative of people's voices.”
