(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City’s Nguyen Hue walking street will host a mass event involving 3,000 people wearing ao dai, Vietnam’s traditional long dress, and 50,000 attendees from 21 districts and Thu Duc city from Saturday to next Sunday.

30 celebrities will serve as festival ambassadors, and 53 ao dai designers from across Vietnam will showcase their creations.
Activities will include an ao dai-themed art performance, a contest for painting on ao dai, an online photo competition, and exhibitions and interactive spaces. Some of the ao dai will be donated to women’s union members and female workers.
